Backstory: Growing up Dr. Jason was very active in sports. By the time he was in his 20's he was having lots of pain in his upper back, shoulders with some tingling in his hands with little knowledge of why. Not wanting to medicate, he tried a structural care chiropractor. This turned out to be life changing for his overall health and future. Chiropractic saved him from a potential lifetime of over-medicating and having to "deal" with it mentality. Now, Dr. Pero loves treating and teaching his practice members about their bodies and overal health.

Dr. Pero's philosophy to treating patients is exhaust the least invasive treatment like chiropractic/physiotherapy before taking drugs or consulting a surgeon. Dr. Jason loves meeting new families in the Charleston community and building life long relationships. Dr. Pero takes a "whole person" approach to overall health and well-being which makes him a highly sought after practitioner.

Chiropractic Assistant

Sydney moved to Charleston, SC after living in Myrtle Beach, SC where she attended Coastal Carolina University and obtained her bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in cellular molecular biology. She has extensive knowledge in patient care with focuses on pain management and neurology. She moved to Charleston for new career opportunities and joined JP Chiropractic with the desire to learn more about holistic medicine. In her free time you can catch Sydney out on walks, reading, or enjoying Sunday football.

Chesley

Chiropractic Assistant

Chesley moved to Charleston from Atlanta, GA a few years ago. She graduated from Savannah State University with a degree in Mass Communications focus in Public Relations. She has extensive experience in Marketing, PR and videography. She moved to Charleston, SC for new career opportunities.

She is open and always willing to grow and learn new things. She is overall a social butterfly. On her spare time, Chesley enjoys kayaking, biking, eating and traveling. She adores her wife and her two fur babies, Riley, her golden retriever, and Ryder, her domestic cat.
